From 2022 through 2025 River Arts submitted input to CalTrans with our vision for a more beautiful and pedestrian friendly town for their downtown revitalization program which completely remade the streets and sidewalks along Main Street, primarily for the purpose of increasing accessiblity.

As a result more greenery, flagpole holes and wider sidewalks with bulbouts, for more public art, were included in the work in 2025.

Now River Arts is looking to encourage use of the flagpole holes and bulbouts to inspire more public art in the downtown.
