ArtWalk Project
The proliferation of art galleries and other venues with a sizeable art presence is a fairly new phenomenon in Guerneville, growing rapidly in the last 10 to 15 years and changing, for the better, the identity, culture and economy of the town.
River Arts coordinates the monthly ArtWalk among the dozen or so galleries downtown and nearby. Â In addition to publicity, River Arts provides street music and other support for the participating galleries.
For example, in May 2026 River Arts coordinated with Lark Traditional Arts to create a Mini-World Music Fest during ArtWalk and hopes to repeat this event every May as a prelude to the full-scale World Music Fest which occurs in June at the Occidental Center for the Arts.
