Pond Farm, a National Historic Landmark in Austin Creek State Park, was an historically important artist’s colony and pottery school.

It is primarily managed by the California State Parks and their local non-profit partner, The Stewards of the Coast & Redwoods.

River Arts helps to manage the artist-in-residence program there. In particular, River Arts strives to bring the artists into town, where appropriate, to present their work, process and vision to the public.

There are normally six monthly residencies annually, in the warm weather months.
