Rio Nido’s new community center has a sign!

Rio Nido’s new community center has a sign! Now known as the Rio Nido Station, the sign was a community project donated by River Arts.The building will house the new community center as well as the post office. Friends of Rio Nido purchased the building and now manage the space: frn@rionido.net.

Involved in the project were River Art members Douglas DeVivo, who designed the sign and Patty Bailey and Alisa Clapp. Thank you to John Haines for helping with construction and hanging of the sign.

Also thank you to Rio Nido Homeowners Association for including River Arts in their pancake breakfast and Art Festival in August 2025. Families, children, locals and visitors were invited to come and paint the background of the sign. The background mural contains images of trees, cabins, fish, the river and many other local icons.
